Woven In Hiatus
Sometimes we long for the past and fear for the future, so much so that we cling to our memories like a drug. Our nostalgia can blind us, and prevent our ability to move forward. Woven In Hiatus is this feeling personified. The sonic manifestation of a mentality frozen in time.
Hailing from Boston MA, Woven In Hiatus is an indie acoustic project comprised of singer-songwriter Luke Nagel, bassist Nicolas Casis, guitarist Richard Pingree, and percussionist Nicholas Aspell. Musically the band puts together a wide array of influences to create a unique blend of indie acoustic, shoegaze, and pop punk with an emphasis on storytelling and emotive lyrics.
After coming together in the late fall of 2015, the band has released one 4 song EP titled Roam, and has since signed with the Ohio based indie-rock record label InVogue Records. Since the signing, the band has recorded their debut full length LP with producer Nick Ingram of Capital House Studio, and released their debut single "Bedframe" through Alternative Press Magazine.
