Kept At Bay
Kept At Bay is a three piece pop-punk band from Richmond, Va. Kept At Bay strives to make relatable music with a realistic, positive message and has been influenced by bands like The Wonder Years, Green Day, A Day To Remember, Blink-182, and City Lights.
Kept At Bay released their first EP "Adjust" in September 2014 and their sophomore EP "Things That Came Undone" in May 2015. The band has played shows all over Virginia as well as up and down the east coast in promotion of their releases, including the Virginia Beach date of the 2015 Vans Warped Tour. In September 2015 the band released their acoustic EP "Things That Came Unplugged" which features songs from both of their full band releases as well as a track that's exclusive to the acoustic EP.
Laureate isn't quite pop punk, isn't quite indie, definitely isn't post hardcore and even to its own members is hard to classify.
Formed in early 2015, Laureate spent the month of June in the studio with Will Beasely of Valencia Studios (Emarosa, Hand Guns, Turnstile) recording their debut EP that will be released later this year.
